Photography Gift Vouchers - Photography Gift Ideas
Photography Gift Vouchers
A thoughtful photography gift they will actually use
Buying for a photographer is not always easy. Cameras, lenses and accessories are personal, technical and often very specific, which makes it surprisingly easy to buy the wrong thing.
A photography gift voucher removes that pressure and gives them the freedom to choose something they will genuinely enjoy and use. They can put it towards photography courses, workshops, private lessons and other bookable photography experiences, making it a practical and personal gift for birthdays, Christmas, retirement, leaving presents and special occasions.
Delivered digitally by email and valid for 12 months, it is a simple gift to buy and an enjoyable one to receive.

Digital Photography Gift Cards FAQ
What can the voucher be redeemed against?
All vouchers can be used against the cost of Alan’s products: photography tuition, workshops, courses and event days are all eligible.
Benefits
Gift vouchers for photography can also be used to purchase more than one product. For instance, a voucher of £150 can be used against two separate half day workshops costing £75 each.
Can customers set a specific time to send the email to the recipient?
No. Customers who want to send the email to the recipient at a later date should select the Email to You (yourself) delivery option at checkout. They can then forward the email or .pdf at the desired time.
How do customers redeem their gift card?
Simply enter the unique code, printed on the gift card, on checkout when purchasing items through the shopping cart
Do gift cards cover tax and shipping?
Yes.
Do gift cards have an expiration date?
Gift cards and eVouchers expire 12 months (1 year) from the date they are purchased.
Why do Vouchers and gift cards have an expiry date?
The vouchers have expiry dates because of accounting regulations which govern how unspent gift vouchers need to be accounted for in company accounts. Put simply, if we didn’t have or enforce an expiry date, then it would create a liability on our balance sheet that would last forever, which we cannot sustain
Can customers split an order between a gift card and a credit card?
Yes. If their order total exceeds the value remaining on their gift card, they can pay the balance using standard payment methods.
Can I get a refund for a gift card?
It isn’t possible to refund a gift card at this time or exchange it for money.
Can I get a refund on purchases made with a gift card?
Yes. Refunding a purchase made with a gift card adds the refunded amount to the gift card's balance as long the refund is in line with T&Cs of the purchase.
Are gift cards restricted to certain items?
Gift cards can be used as a payment method for any item or order.
Can I buy custom values?
No, but you can set purchase multiple gift cards to the value required.
How does the recipient check their balance?
The recipient will receive an initial email with the gift card balance. After entering the gift card code at checkout, they'll see the remaining balance if there is any.
What happens if a customer loses their gift card code?
You can contact us and we will resend the gift email notification.

Not sure what to choose? Start with the person you are buying for
| Buying for… | Best option | Why it works |
|---|---|---|
| A complete beginner | Course or flexible value voucher | Gives them a clear starting point and lets them choose the right level of support. |
| A keen hobbyist | Workshop or private lesson | Helps them improve a specific skill, subject or area of photography they already enjoy. |
| Someone returning to photography | Private lesson or flexible voucher | Lets them rebuild confidence at their own pace and choose what feels most useful now. |
| An experienced enthusiast | Private 1-to-1 tuition | Personal guidance is often more valuable than buying another piece of equipment. |

| Someone you are unsure about | Flexible value voucher | Removes the risk of choosing the wrong course, workshop or product for them. |
Why a photography gift voucher makes such a good present
A gift voucher gives the recipient the freedom to choose the photography experience that suits them best. That could be a beginner-friendly course, a practical workshop, a one-to-one lesson, or another service that helps them enjoy photography more and improve their results.
It is a particularly good option when you know they love photography, but you are not completely sure what they already own, what they still need, or what would suit their current level. Instead of guessing, you are giving them flexibility, choice and something they can look forward to using properly.
For many people, the most memorable gifts are not more “stuff” but useful experiences, guidance and opportunities to do something they enjoy more confidently. That is exactly what a photography gift voucher offers.
No risk of buying the wrong gear
Photography equipment is personal and technical. A voucher avoids expensive guesswork.
Flexible and genuinely useful
The recipient can choose the course, workshop or lesson that suits their level and interests.
Easy to buy and easy to send
Digital delivery makes it ideal for organised gifts and last-minute presents alike.
What can they use it for?
A photography gift voucher can be redeemed against eligible items and experiences across the site, making it a very flexible gift.
Photography Courses
A great choice for complete beginners or anyone who wants a more structured way to learn camera settings, exposure, composition and the foundations of better photography.
Photography Workshops
Ideal for photographers who enjoy practical learning, location-based experiences and developing their skills in a more hands-on environment.
Private 1-to-1 Lessons
Perfect for anyone who would benefit from personal guidance tailored to their camera, confidence level, interests and goals.
Flexible Voucher Value
If you are not sure exactly what they would prefer, a flexible voucher lets them choose for themselves later.
