15 mins before sunrise, snow had already fallen on the hill tops at various points in the previous days but this morning was sub zero, icey and totally still to the extent that the light mist even froze on the horizon - all perfect conditions for capturing this scene and keeping the white balance cold to represent the temperature of my fingertips :)

this is my favourite of the images i got from hartland quay. the light was just right for a mere 30 seconds or so, enabling me to capture great detail in the rocks and a good balance of colour throughout the scene.

A shot from my Welsh 1 day workshop on Saturday - lovely subtle light mized with fresh spring colour in these trees made for a lovely semi abstract long focal range shot - the blend of colours and shapes are a rich tapestry for you to paint any canvass with your camera, so go out and enjoy whatever nature displays before it has gone.
