a great day out with 3 groups of students in a private woodland to enjoy the splendour of bluebells mixed with great light. The carpets of flowers were spectacular and had everyone in a daze. More to come soon :)
another stacked focus example for a lesson
A mizzly damp morning in Micheldever woods, no bursting light and sun rays through the network of vertical trunks so what perfect conditions to have some fun experimenting with camera movement and contrasts. The complimentary colour palette of bluebells and golden beech leaves worked well, together with the juxtaposition of the seemingly floating horizontal beech branches/leaves against the wonderfully sculptural beech trunks. The vertical camera movement softened the whole feel to retain the slightly eerie but inspiring light that just shone through from the back.
